Job Description

We are seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing chemical processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of process engineering projects from concept through to completion.
• Monitor process performance and implement changes as necessary.
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging of chemical processes.
• Support the implementation of safety and process control measures.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on process-related issues.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure process integrity.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source equipment and materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Technical certification in Process Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in process engineering in the chemical sector
