Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced First-Line Supervisor of Air Crew Members to oversee the loading and unloading of aircraft. This role is crucial to ensuring that cargo is managed safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for loading teams and ensure adherence to loading schedules.
• Monitor and report on air cargo performance metrics.
• Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for staff.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Facilitate communication between crew members and operations staff.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Relevant Tertiary Education in Aviation or Logistics

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft loading and unloading operations.

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Cargo Management Systems
• Load Planning Software

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills

Certifications

• Loadmaster Certification (FAA or SACAA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
