Seeking an experienced Mining Engineer who can drive our operations in Mbombela. This role involves designing mining plans, assessing mineral resources, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while optimising production processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mining staff and manage operational schedules.
• Monitor equipment and machinery for optimal performance.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure operational safety.
• Facilitate training for new employees on safety and technical procedures.
• Review and update mining processes based on new regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate on research and development projects focused on sustainable practices in mining.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in mining operations
