Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you'll be instrumental in shaping public health initiatives in Cape Town. Your expertise will guide policy development and health promotion strategies to improve community health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct epidemiological research to identify health trends.
  • Create resource materials for health education and public awareness.
  • Oversee the implementation of health policies at the community level.
  • Compile and analyze data for health reports and assessments.
  • Serve on health advisory boards and committees.
  • Facilitate community meetings to discuss health priorities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health preferred
