The role involves working closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care and promote recovery. Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Oversee patient vitals and report significant changes.
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans and health promotion.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the nursing unit.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Assist with wound care and post-operative care.
• Administer injections and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Support a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Additional certifications in specialized nursing areas are advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a specialized nursing area is a plus

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual skills in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans is an asset.
