DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our energetic team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll be responsible for optimizing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring smooth deployments. You should possess strong skills in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and have a solid understanding of containerization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment of applications and services in a cloud environment.
• Develop and implement automation tools and frameworks.
• Evaluate and maintain technical documentation for processes.
• Engage in capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Monitor and report on system health and performance metrics.
• Assist with incident management and response activities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering
