We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing chemical processes, ensuring efficiency and safety while adhering to industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of chemical engineering principles and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve chemical production protocols.
• Analyze data to identify areas for process enhancement.
• Oversee the implementation of safety measures in the workplace.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Assist in the development of new chemical formulations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Assist in budgeting and project management.
• Conduct risk assessments for chemical processes.
• Ensure proper documentation of all engineering work.
• Participate in regulatory audits and inspections.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
