Job Description

As a Construction Coordinator, you will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include liaising with contractors and architects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all construction activities on site including subcontractor and supplier management.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage project documentation including progress reports.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and equipment.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding progress and challenges.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks on completed work.
• Lead and mentor site staff to achieve project objectives.
• Facilitate training and safety meetings on site.
• Utilise project management software to track progress and budget.
• Mitigate risk through proactive issue identification.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Experience

• Experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects
