Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and assist in budget preparations. If you have a knack for numbers and a passion for financial accuracy, this is the role for you. You will work closely with our financial team to enhance overall efficiency and support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting financial trends.
• Conduct audits to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare tax documents and ensure timely submissions.
• Collaborate with financial analysts to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Oversee financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA or CA(SA) qualification is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles

Certifications

• ACCA or similar certification
• SAP ERP Certification (advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Knowledge of IFRS standards.: An understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards is highly desirable.
