Job Description

We are in search of a detail-oriented VAT Specialist to join our esteemed team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of VAT legislation and experience in managing compliance processes. Your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring our clients adhere to regulatory requirements while optimizing their tax positions.

Responsibilities

• Execute VAT compliance strategies for diverse clients.
• Conduct thorough audits and prepare detailed VAT reports.
• Review returns for accuracy and compliance before submission.
• Guide clients on VAT implications of their business decisions.
• Monitor and interpret VAT legislative changes.
• Train team members and clients on VAT best practices.
• Act as a liaison for queries with the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Honours degree in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years in VAT compliance and advisory roles
