Job Description

The Physical Therapist Aide will assist patients dealing with injuries or disabilities in their recovery journey. This role includes providing support during rehabilitation exercises, monitoring patients' progress, and offering emotional encouragement.

Responsibilities

  • Help facilitate therapy sessions as directed by the physiotherapist.
  • Track and report changes in patients' conditions.
  • Encourage patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Maintain therapy equipment and assist in new equipment setup.
  • Provide feedback to the rehabilitation team regarding patient challenges and achievements.
  • Attending to patient queries and directing them appropriately.
  • Educate patients about rehabilitation processes and self-care practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Physical Therapy or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Preferred experience working with rehabilitation teams.
