E-commerce Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to spearhead our online sales strategies and enhance our digital presence in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing e-commerce platforms, optimising conversion funnels, and developing effective marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and execute e-commerce initiatives to reach sales targets.
• Enhance site navigation and speed to improve user engagement.
• Implement advanced analytics to track e-commerce metrics effectively.
• Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate e-commerce activities.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate supply for online sales.
• Work on customer retention strategies and loyalty programs.
• Develop competitive pricing and promotional strategies.
• Monitor and manage online customer feedback and inquiries.
• Ensure the e-commerce platform is secure and up-to-date.
• Conduct market research to identify new trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years in digital marketing or e-commerce management.

Technical Skills

• PPC Campaign Management
• Email Marketing Tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with A/B Testing: Proven ability to conduct A/B tests and analyse results for optimisation.
