As a vital part of our dental team, you will focus on both preventive and restorative dentistry, helping patients maintain their smiles and oral health. We are looking for someone who believes in a patient-centered approach and is ready to make a difference in our community.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose oral health issues with precision.
• Execute a wide range of dental procedures, including fillings and extractions.
• Craft treatment recommendations according to patient needs.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the clinic’s policies.
• Foster a welcoming and empathetic environment for patients.
• Work with dental technology, including digital x-rays and intraoral cameras.
• Interact with dental suppliers to keep our practice stocked.
• Utilize patient feedback to improve service delivery.
• Build relationships with specialists for patient referrals when necessary.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient clinic environment.

Requirements

Education

• BDS or DMD from an accredited institution

Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience is preferred

Technical Skills

• Oral Surgery
• Pediatric Dentistry

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Dental License from the HPCSA
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Certified in Sedation Dentistry: Experience in providing sedation options for anxious patients.
• Advanced Prosthodontics Training: Training in the field of prosthodontics is desirable.
