Job Description

As a Charge Weigher, you will be critical to our production line by accurately measuring and weighing raw materials. You will ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality control and recordkeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular checks on weighing equipment for accuracy.
• Oversee the inventory of raw materials to ensure sufficient stock levels.
• Monitor production processes to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to uphold standards.
• Help in the implementation of lean manufacturing practices.
• Document all activities and measurements accurately in the system.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Safety Procedures
• Experience with Weighing Equipment

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Quality Assurance: Relevant qualifications in quality handling and safety procedures.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems: Proficiency in using ERP tools for inventory management.
