Job Description

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our network infrastructure in Stellenbosch. Your expertise will ensure that our systems run smoothly and securely, all while interacting regularly with various departments to provide top-tier IT support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Implement and manage security protocols to safeguard network systems.
• Assist with the configuration and installation of network hardware.
• Develop and maintain documentation of network configurations and processes.
• Provide technical support and advice to team members.
• Collaborate with IT team for integration of new technologies.
• Perform regular backups and recovery tasks to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in planning network upgrades and expansions to enhance performance.
• Train and support staff in network usage and security practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in network administration
