We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and providing compassionate care to our patients. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in animals.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor animals during surgical procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date medical knowledge through research and training.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the surgical area and equipment.
• Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners during difficult times.
• Collaborate with external specialists when necessary for advanced treatments.
• Promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the clinic.
• Document all interactions, treatments, and follow-ups in our electronic medical record system.
• Participate in emergency services as needed during clinic hours.
• Implement safety protocols to ensure the welfare of patients and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Surgery is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in clinical practice preferred
