Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing patient education, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy.
  • Speak with patients to understand their medication needs.
  • Develop and implement pharmacy services to improve patient care.
  • Document and report adverse drug reactions and drug interactions.
  • Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and supplies.
  • Provide training for pharmacy technicians and interns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy.
  • Engage in professional development and continuous education.
  • Work closely with healthcare providers for integrated care.
  • Promote health education and disease prevention strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Postgraduate studies in Clinical Pharmacy preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred
