Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing patient education, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Conduct medication reviews and consultations for patients.
• Implement pharmacy protocols for quality improvement.
• Actively engage in patient education initiatives.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and interns.
• Provide support in drug utilization review processes.
• Offer specialized services such as compounding and health screenings.
• Monitor and improve medication adherence among patients.
• Collaborate on clinical pathways with healthcare teams.
• Participate in drug formularies and clinical trials when applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Postgraduate studies in Clinical Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience preferred
