We are seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing mechanical systems and components. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the utmost quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through to completion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Develop maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Evaluate new technologies to incorporate into projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the industry

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Mechanical Design

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Communication

Advantageous

• Experience in the automotive industry: Background in automotive engineering projects.
• Familiarity with ISO standards: Knowledge of relevant ISO standards in engineering.
