Manufacturing Engineer

We're on the lookout for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes and ensuring product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate process workflows to minimize waste.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new procedures.
• Collaborate on product design to enhance manufacturability.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams for new product launches.
• Support quality audits and compliance checks.
• Engage in problem-solving for production challenges.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and production.
• Participate in cost analysis and budgeting for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
