UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance the user experience. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure our digital products meet the highest standards of usability and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Create user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.
• Apply best practices in accessibility to ensure our products are usable for all.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall growth of the design team.
• Analyze data and user behavior to inform design strategies.
• Facilitate usability testing sessions to validate design concepts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a portfolio of projects

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• HTML/CSS

Certifications

• Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with motion design: Ability to create engaging motion graphics to enhance user experience.
