Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in building, installing, and repairing wooden structures, demonstrating precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install frameworks for buildings.
• Identify and solve issues related to construction tasks.
• Coordinate with architects and contractors for precise execution.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies.
• Provide assistance to other trades on site as necessary.
• Participate in meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Carpentry trade certification or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a construction carpenter
