Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Risk Assessment Consultant to join our auditing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies. A proactive approach and detailed understanding of regulatory requirements will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential risks related to operational processes, compliance, and technology.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure a proactive risk management culture.
• Assist in the design and implementation of audit plans.
• Review and enhance risk management frameworks to align with industry standards.
• Provide guidance and support during internal and external audits.
• Analyze the effectiveness of current risk management strategies and suggest improvements.
• Facilitate workshops to educate staff on risk management practices.
• Prepare risk trend reports for senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Risk Management, or similar
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• At least 4-6 years of experience in a consultancy or auditing role
