Responsibilities

• Manage daily nursing operations in the unit.
• Engage in patient education on various health topics.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior nursing staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred
• Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support

Experience

• Experience in a hospital setting is advantageous

Technical Skills

• IV Therapy
• Emergency Response

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Leadership experience in nursing: Examples of previous leadership or supervisory roles in nursing.
• Certification in Infection Control: A valid certification demonstrating expertise in infection control practices.
