Join our team as a Tax Consultant in Port Elizabeth, where you will assist clients in navigating the complex world of taxation. You'll be responsible for ensuring clients are compliant with current laws and regulations, providing expert advice on tax matters, and managing their tax filings. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of tax legislation and a passion for helping others minimize their tax burden.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial documents and records to assess tax liability.
• Guide clients through the tax audit process.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Advise clients on tax benefits associated with various financial decisions.
• Conduct workshops and seminars to educate clients on tax issues.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential tax issues.
• Coordinate with accountants and financial advisors to ensure optimal tax solutions.
• Assist in the development of tax-related policies and procedures.
• Handle correspondence with tax authorities on behalf of clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
• Master's degree in Taxation or Finance is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working as a tax consultant

Certifications

• Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA)
