We are seeking an enthusiastic Pet Groomer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. This role involves grooming pets to a high standard while maintaining their safety and comfort. You will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional pet services in a cheerful and friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Grooming pets to ensure their hygiene and appearance.
• Building rapport with both pets and owners for a positive experience.
• Aiding in the training of junior grooming staff.
• Monitoring the wellbeing of pets throughout their stay.
• Creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for pets during grooming.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Pet Grooming or Animal Care

Experience

• 2+ years of grooming experience

Technical Skills

• Clipping and Trimming
• Breed Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Empathy for Animals
• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a veterinary setting: Familiarity with veterinary environments is a plus.
• First Aid for Pets certification: Certification can be beneficial for handling emergencies.
