Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory management, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations and manage a team of warehouse associates.
• Develop strategic plans to optimize inventory management.
• Coordinate logistics for outbound and inbound deliveries.
• Evaluate and improve safety protocols within the warehouse.
• Oversee the implementation of technology solutions for better tracking.
• Create performance goals for the warehouse team.
• Conduct regular reviews and training sessions for continuous improvement.
• Assist in preparing and analyzing warehouse performance reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role within the logistics industry

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
