Job Description

We're on the hunt for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our expanding practice. You will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating animals while collaborating with fellow vets to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate animal conditions to determine treatment protocols.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and blood work.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures with support staff.
• Educate pet owners on preventive healthcare and wellness checks.
• Build strong relationships with clients and animal patients.
• Contribute to a positive work environment for the team.
• Participate in community outreach and animal welfare initiatives.
• Document all medical procedures and treatments in patient files.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science, or equivalent
• Advanced surgical training preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in various veterinary settings

• SAVC Certification
