General Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented General Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engineering solutions across various projects. This role requires a passion for engineering, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Create engineering designs and models using CAD software.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards in all projects.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders for optimal outcomes.
• Monitor project progress and make recommendations as necessary.
• Conduct material and sustainability assessments for projects.
• Review and approve project-related changes and documents.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in the department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in engineering design and development

Technical Skills

• Structural Design
• Engineering Software (e.g., Revit)

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
