Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of optical lenses. Your attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with other manufacturing-related tasks as required.
• Check and inspect lenses for quality and accuracy.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Relevant Diploma or Trade Certificate in a Manufacturing-related field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing role, preferably in an optical or precision manufacturing industry.

Advantageous

• Prior experience working with automated machinery: Experience in operating automated equipment in a manufacturing environment.
