We are on the lookout for a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our expert team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical psychology and contribute significantly to improving mental health outcomes for our clients. The role requires empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and clients alike.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy based on clinical best practices.
• Conduct regular assessments and document client progress.
• Staying informed on the latest advancements and techniques in psychology.
• Engage with community groups to support mental health initiatives.
• Ensure ethical practices and confidentiality with client matters.
• Support in the development of mental health policy and advocacy.
• Network with other mental health professionals to promote collaborative care.
• Lead workshops and training for local community health workers.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD or Ph.D.) is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in clinical practice, including supervision of interns
