Job Description

We are on the lookout for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting financial analysis to guide our strategic decisions and ensure the financial health of our organization. You will collaborate closely with various departments to produce accurate financial reports and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and performance metrics.
• Assist in creating financial forecasts and budgets.
• Conduct thorough variance analysis and identify key trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial strategies.
• Support the development of financial policies and procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems and processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations.
• Prepare financial models to project growth and profitability.
• Participate in the strategic planning process by providing financial insights.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Analysis or Business
• Master's degree in Finance is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis roles

Technical Skills

• Financial Modelling
• Data Visualization

Soft Skills

• Strategic Thinking
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• CFA Level III
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Investment Analysis: Prior experience analyzing investment opportunities and portfolio management.
