We are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The role involves the development and optimization of chemical processes, ensuring safety and environmental compliance while enhancing production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design new processes and equipment for chemical production.
• Analyze and optimize existing chemical processes for efficiency.
• Conduct experiments and interpret results to inform process improvements.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance in all engineering projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and project updates for stakeholders.
• Assist with the training of technical staff on new processes and technologies.
• Implement sustainable practices in chemical production.
• Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues in production.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in chemical engineering or a related field
