Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Scientist to join our Nelspruit team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science and demonstrate a passion for sustainable practices and conservation. You will be responsible for conducting research, performing field studies, and collaborating with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Survey ecosystems to assess health and sustainability.
• Conduct studies on local flora and fauna, focusing on conservation efforts.
• Develop training programs for staff on environmental best practices.
• Provide expert advice on environmental legislation and compliance.
• Promote the use of sustainable resources and waste management practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Studies or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or related field
