Job Description

As a pharmacist at Healthcare Solutions Ltd., you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the health of our patients. You will dispense medications, provide accurate information about drugs, and counsel patients on the safe use and potential side effects of their medications. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process medication orders.
• Offer advice and support on dietary supplements.
• Conduct medication reconciliation at transitions of care.
• Participate in patient care rounds with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and report any issues.
• Provide emergency care such as first aid and CPR as needed.
• Implement risk management strategies for medication dispensing.
• Promote public health initiatives within the community.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting

• Clinical Pharmacy
• Pharmacy Management Software

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Clinical Pharmacotherapy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
