Responsibilities

• Lead mining projects and oversee all engineering aspects.
• Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity.
• Work closely with environmental teams to mitigate the impact of mining on ecosystems.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess potential mining operations.
• Maintain direct contact with contractors and suppliers for project procurement.
• Compile reports on operational performance, safety, and compliance.
• Ensure the implementation of health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist in budget preparation for mining projects and operations.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements for mining equipment and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in the mining sector with project experience
