Job Description

As a Tobacco Stripper, your primary responsibility will be to remove the stems from freshly harvested tobacco leaves. This role is vital in preparing tobacco for production and requires keen attention to detail, ensuring only the best quality leaves move forward in the processing chain. You'll work closely with a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various stages of tobacco processing beyond stripping.
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality.
• Participate in training sessions for safety and efficiency improvements.
• Document daily production output as required.

Advantageous

• Prior experience in a similar role: Experience in agricultural or tobacco production is an advantage.
• Knowledge of tobacco production processes: Familiarity with the steps involved in processing tobacco from field to factory.
• Additional qualifications in Agriculture or related field: Formal education in agriculture can enhance your application.
