Job Description

The Facilities Manager will oversee the management and maintenance of a diverse range of facilities and assist in optimizing operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will ensure all facilities meet health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in ensuring the maintenance of all facilities to the highest standards.
  • Assist in the development of strategies to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Supervise contractors performing maintenance work to ensure quality service.
  • Monitor and manage facility service requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all facilities are compliant with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
  • Facilitate training programs for new staff regarding facility management best practices.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee the management of property leasing and contracts.
  • Develop emergency plans and train staff on emergency procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • A Master's degree is preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in facility management or operations
