Job Description

As a Civil Engineer at our Bloemfontein office, you will play a crucial role in developing infrastructure projects that benefit the local community. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills, as you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and project management for civil engineering projects.
• Conduct thorough site audits to maintain quality control.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Draft and present project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with engineering projects.
• Assist in the sourcing and procurement of project materials.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Environmental Impact Assessment

• Analytical Thinking
• Negotiation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management software: Familiarity with software such as Primavera or MS Project.
