E-commerce Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic E-commerce Manager to oversee our online sales strategy at our Cape Town location. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing e-commerce initiatives, optimizing the online shopping experience, and increasing overall sales. You will work closely with various teams to ensure a seamless integration of marketing, inventory management, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and execute digital marketing initiatives.
• Utilize analytics tools to assess site performance and customer behaviour.
• Manage online advertising campaigns to increase visibility.
• Coordinate with content teams to enhance product descriptions and imagery.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Engage with stakeholders to improve overall product offerings.
• Supervise the e-commerce team and foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Digital Marketing
• Master's degree in relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in managing an e-commerce site or related role

Technical Skills

• PPC Advertising
• Content Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Creative thinking
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with enterprise-level e-commerce solutions: Experience with platforms like Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Graphic design skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
