Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee our logistics operations in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain processes, from procurement to delivery. You will work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that the supply chain is efficient and cost-effective.

Responsibilities

• Assess supply chain performance to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure a seamless supply chain process.
• Supervise inventory levels and manage stock discrepancies.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Implement best practices in supply chain management.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in service.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and risk management protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of comprehensive experience in logistics and supply chain management

Certifications

• Supply Chain Management Certification from a recognized institution
