Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Help Desk Coordinator to join our team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution of issues while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related queries.
  • Provide hands-on support for hardware and software installations.
  • Ensure all IT support tickets are prioritized, tracked, and resolved efficiently.
  • Educate end-users on IT best practices and security protocols.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation.
  • Develop and implement procedures for effective IT support operations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Assist in inventory management of IT equipment.
  • Support the IT Manager in various tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in relevant IT field
  • Certifications such as ITIL or Service Desk Management are a plus
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support or help desk role
