Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for patient assessments, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to provide emotional support and reassurance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Assess the effectiveness of nursing interventions and modify plans as necessary.
• Document all nursing interventions and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Registered Nursing license in South Africa

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a nursing role preferred

• Wound Care
• Medication Administration

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
