Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This role includes managing inventory, advising patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the dispensing of prescriptions and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Conduct health screenings and provide recommendations to patients.
  • Ensure adherence to medication therapy management protocols.
  • Address patient inquiries regarding medications and health concerns.
  • Participate in the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the training of pharmacy students and new employees.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Requirements

Education
  • B.Pharm or equivalent
Experience
  • 2+ years of working experience as a Pharmacist in a community or hospital setting.
