We're looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our clinic in Port Elizabeth. You will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients' physical and mental health needs. Your expertise will help clients regain independence and improve their daily functions.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and cognitive abilities of clients.
• Formulate treatment plans incorporating clients’ preferences.
• Use therapeutic activity to develop clients’ physical and mental functions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create a holistic approach to client care.
• Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system.
• Support and train clients’ families in caregiving strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Registered with the HPCSA

Experience

• Preferred: 3-5 years of post-graduate experience

• Client-Centered Therapy

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Experience in pediatric occupational therapy: Background in working with children and youth with special needs.
