We're in search of a diligent Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of mechanical design principles and be adept in various engineering software. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing our engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret engineering data to make informed decisions.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and provide solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns within the team.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on equipment and materials.
• Prepare project reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Professional certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in a mechanical engineering role

Technical Skills

• Pro/ENGINEER
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Time management

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
