Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems design, project management, and implementation of engineering solutions. You will be instrumental in driving projects from conception through to execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and schematics for commercial and industrial projects.
• Oversight of project construction to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers to secure all necessary project approvals.
• Resolve technical issues through effective problem-solving methods.
• Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop project timelines and resource allocation plans.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety regulations and standards.
• Monitor project progress and report updates to senior management.
• Engage with clients to clarify project specifications and requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in electricity and power systems engineering
