Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design and implementation, with an emphasis on innovative solutions for complex projects. You will work closely with our design and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery, while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Supervise installation teams to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems and challenges.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement of materials and equipment.
• Conduct quality control inspections of electrical systems.
• Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders.
• Oversee project budgets and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical project management
