Responsibilities

• Create technical drawings that detail materials and construction processes.

• Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
• Participate in the optimization of designs for sustainability and energy efficiency.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and provide updates on project milestones.
• Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to integrate design aspects.
• Assist in obtaining permits and approvals from local authorities.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Architectural Technology or related field
• Professional registration as a technologist is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant architectural experience

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
