Job Description

As a Clinical Research Associate in Cape Town, you will oversee clinical trial activities, liaise with investigators, and ensure adherence to protocols. This role is essential in driving forward our cutting-edge research initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clinical trial sites.
  • Ensure timely reporting of clinical trial data and outcomes.
  • Assist in the development of study protocols and informed consent documents.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of trial protocols during feasibility assessments.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards throughout the trial.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and strategy discussions.
  • Ensure that all trial documentation is complete and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate site performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
  • Co-ordinate with medical monitors and project managers for protocol adherence.
  • Conduct ongoing training and support for site staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or Clinical Research
  • A Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience with clinical trials
