Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver

Job Description

The Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of milk from farms to processing plants. This role requires a valid driver's license and familiarity with driving large vehicles. Ideal candidates will also demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to adhere to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport dairy products safely and efficiently from farms to processing plants.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in food transport.
• Follow routing instructions and adapt to changes efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and management regarding delivery status.
• Manage delivery schedules and routes for maximum efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of grade 10 education

Experience

• At least 2 years of driving experience, preferably with large vehicles

Technical Skills

• Excellent driving skills

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Valid driver's license (Code 10/C)

Languages

• English: Fluent
